Diagnosing a drive/start issue with my 2000 4.3V6Chevy Blazer?

I was driving my 2000 Chevy Blazer up a large gradual hill to work this morning when all of a sudden it started losing power and almost sounded like the engine would high-rev to get power enough to pull off to the side of the road. Roadside istance guy never tried to jump the battery (even though the battery indicator light illuminated) but instead insisted that my fuel pump may be going out after hearing it try to start. {Pretty much sounds like if its starved of gas, it's not partial because it dry spins-No chugging-. Cranks quick and hard, but not progressing toward starting, just gradually getting slower until you hear a repetitive, fast click like the battery is dead} SO, he hit the gas tank with a mallet while I tried starting it and it never chugged or tried to do any more than crank. I'm thinking the fuel pump may just be a worse case scenario, but don't know the odds that it may be a clogged filter or blown vacuum line or clogged injector. Any possibility that the symptoms fit a bad ground wire for pump or some kind of alternator/battery combination problem with system power?

I came up with some Brand names like: Wellness, Solid Gold, Eagle Pack Holistic, Nutro Ultra Holistic, Blue Buffalo, Merrick, Innova, Canidae, Fromm, GO Natural, Orijen(excellent canadian dog food) etc. just to name a few. I'm thinking to feed him Eagle Pack with Orijen (mixing it). Maybe 50-50 or 60-40 (60% E. Pack, 40% Orijen). How does one void an employment contract with a school district in South Carolina?

I haven't even taught there yet. The contract was for next school year('07-'08). Three days after signing, I received an offer for a dream job. I wrote a request to nullify the contract, but the school district I signed with says they will let me know when they fill the position before they release me. I don't know how long I can wait before signing on with the new employer. I cannot legally or ethically sign the new contract until I am officially released from the first one. Are they able to hold me in limbo like this? Do I have any rights that should allow me to void the contract? The district has over 3 months to find someone to take my place before the school year starts. This is a very reputable district. The subject is not a critical needs subject. So I had been home for a few weeks and she had to go to the ER for a UTI. When she goes in she leaves her phone with me and I started to go through it and found a message that explained to one of her friends that a guy she had been dating got killed in her car. I confronted her about it and we got into a huge fight because she cant stand it when people go through her stuff. She ended up telling me that it was the best way she knew how to explain their relationship because when they saw each other they would always hold hands and hug, but nothing serious. Well I didn't really believe this and I ended up contacting someone who knew both of them. This person told me that she knew my girlfriend and the person who died definitely had engaged ually. So I confronted my girlfriend about it and she continued denying it. She got pissed off that I went behind her back and talked to someone and broke up with me. There's a few factors to take into consideration... how old is your horse? She may just be feeling her age and having a snooze and/or relieving herself of her aches and pains that will be more evident in cold weather. How cold is it? Wild horses migrate with the weather like birds... The have a herd to huddle up in and gain body warmth from each other... nature is harsh and wild horses tend to have hard hooves and thick coats due to conditions and natural selection (the weak die out and therefore only the strong survive)... Personally I would recommend using the same amount of canola oil instead of mineral oil. Or just plain old vegetable oil. She's lucky she has somewhere to get out of the weather if she wants, do your best to make it wind proof. How often is she laying down and getting up??? That can be a sign of irritation and colic. Am I showing symptoms of Appendicitis?

I've looked up symptoms, and they sort of match, but they're pretty vague. Perhaps someone who's had it or knows about it can give me a better answer. Four days ago, I woke up and found that when ever I stepped on my right foot I felt a pain in the region of ones appendix. It got pretty bad through out the day and also occurred when I was standing and simply placed weight on my right foot for some time. At lunch (I'm 15, if that matters) some friends dragged me to the school nurse because I was limping so much. She asked me a bunch of questions and them had me lie down and pressed my stomach on the lower right, asking if the pain remained in that area once she'd removed her fingers, because that was a tell tale sign. It didn't, so she let me go, but before I left, she said "I can't tell what you have exactly, but if you experience dizziness or a fever, you should go to the emergency room" The next day, the pain was less and I could walk much better. Around 12:30 the next day, I started feeling warm. All my friends told me I had a fever, but the pain was subsiding, so I decided to ignore it. It lasted about three hours (I think, but it could have been longer) and I'm pretty sure it was over 99 degrees (I have a friend who's naturally always about 99 and everyone said I felt warmer). Saturday I felt fine all day, but this morning I experimentally pressed my appendix-ish area and the pain stayed there for a really long time (over four minutes). It sounds like I have it, but I fell fine and I don't want to create imaginary problems. Are there any big signs to indicate that I don't have it?

OLD STEAM ENGINE INFO NEEDED.. PLEASE ?

Help needed if poss ? I have an image of an old steam engine, though the number is not completely clear. It starts with 2214, though there could be more numbers on the end of this. okay but the fact is it only bareley meets vista requirments and if you want to do everything to be compatible then you should run xp. that laptop would be nice w/ xp! 17in is plenty and the clear veiw is hard to keep clean but is nice for gaming if you have little glare. 5400rpm is a bit slow for a 250gb. hp books are known for their ability to to withstand abuse and the power systems are good. if you need it to be a laptop then i suggest similar hardware except 7200rpm hd, 256mb dedicated graphics. but w/ windows xp.

I just got home from the yearly Librarian rip loose party for the gals I work with in this area. I think I drank too much and am not use to it. Why does my freeview have poor signal?

One of the kids at my son's sleepover is a bedwetter, but I don't know which one. What should I do?

My 10 year old son wears underjams for his bedwetting problem. They disappear under his pajamas so sleepovers are no problem. Last week, he had 3 boys over for a sleepover. The next day as I was taking out the trash and dumping it into the dumpster I noticed a used diaper that someone had stuffed into the bottom of our garbage bag. It wasn't an underjam. Pads or tampons?? Tampons are the easier and the more comfortable way to go. You can purchase tampons in a petite (smaller size) for the first timer. Try to go with the plastic applicator as the paper is dry and irritating to sensitive tissue. It does not hurt as in pain!!!!!! it maybe a little uncomfortable at first insertion but not pain. Just relax your muscles when putting it in and you will be fine. I defer from pads due to the bulk and the feeling that I am wearing a diaper. Some pads can show as a bulge in your clothing and are more involved to dispose of. Your activity maybe limited by a pad, you cannot go swimming, or shower with a pad but can with a tampon. Either way the choice is yours to make, do not make it based on what other people say but on your own comfort and activity level.

Why don't I have the willpower to succeed?

I don't know where else to go but here. I am 27 years old and feel like I'm at a dead end job. I have dropped out of college several times, and can't seem to find the drive to do well. My fiance is losing hope with me and I am starting to fall apart. I know a lot of the problems have roots with depression but I thought I ped that phase of my life. Now I feel no joy in whatever I do unless it distracts me from the reality of things. well august this year i broke both tibia and fibula and i have had an amazing recovery as my physio says im only 1 month into physio and its like i have done 7 months, i can play non contact football, balance on a wobble board stand on each foot and hop, but most recently while eating lunch and playing badminton i collapsed due to my achilles giving way, it hasn't snapped, and i am flat footed meaning i have a very short achilles but i suddenly feel a twinge then it just gives way, whats happening ?

I'm a high school senior doing college applications. Throughout my high school career I've dealt with multiple issues (parental separations, alcoholism, substance abuse and more) in which my parents/family have created a difficult environment at home.
