Vampiric Astral Residue - Opinions needed?

Nothing like this has ever happened to me, but it sounds believable, especially if this has never before happened to you. I think it exists, and it's possible. The reason for this is that some people who have seen ghosts claim that they have felt a weird substance right after, plasma. So, if ghosts can do it, why not vampires? Vampires are also known to "posses" their victims, so maybe that is how he's doing it, by leaving this "residue" on you.
