Is it possible he understands? Or am I just dreaming?

While I was pregnant, my 2 year old nephew, who was told by my sister that he needs to play nice with me because there was a baby in my belly, would ask to see the baby. And when I would lift my top and show him my tummy he would say, that's not a baby, you're fat! It was so cute :)
