Does he still like me? confused?

I went through the same thing. We broke up in 9th grade after a few months of dating but he always came back and showed interest. Flirting, taking me out, acting like I was special, but he always dated someone else. He was always the perfect gentleman to me (which only I saw). He was a completely different person to everyone else. I was the backup. The one he ran to when he was between relationships. This lasted for 4 1/2 years (I admit I had little self-confidence). If he really liked you, then you wouldn't have broken up. The best thing for you is to end it now. Being second erodes away your confidence and your self-worth. Eventually you believe that its okay to not be dating because you become accustomed to the situation and the mistreatment. You may still like him, but if he really liked you then you would still be dating and definitely would not be confused.
