Wheather Borezomib prolongs life of stage 1 myeloma patients?Is it available in India now?

I have read Bortezomib (Protease inhibitor) prevents myelmoa cells becoming resistant to conventional chemotherapy.Please tell me,can it actually prolong life?What are it's side effects?
