Mother's day?

I really want to celebrate mothers day.I am 30 weeks pregnant. We are living with my hubbies parents to save moeny and his mom is very out spoken. I asked my hubby what we were doing for mothers day and told him fathers day was on my mind and his mom jumped in with "Oh you cant celebrate that your not a mom." I AM A MOM. I aheb this little thing that I MADE kicked my in the bladder everyday and he is going to be coming out very soon. Just cause hes not out doesnt mean he doesnt exist. Im sad because I know my hubby isnt celebrating it with me. If he did his mom would get all pissy and make a big deal out of how we should celebrate it with "real" mothers. I dont want to get mad at him cause I know he doesnt want to deal with that drama tomorrow but I am planning him something for fathers day even if his mom doesnt like it. What do I do?
