One kidney smaller than other. Smoking?

Hi. MY mom has been smoking alot of my life and it gets me really sick. I REALLY want to scare her out of smoking. I have one small kidney and I was wondering if smoking one cig would hurt it. Smoking is disgusting and I want my mom to be freaked out and want to set a better example for me. She told me not to smoke cuz my kidneys. Help? Im seriously considering doing this. So my question is... Would one ciggy hurt my kidneys?
