Month to Month Lease on House Rental in CA?

Our one year lease on a home rental expired on Nov 09. As of now we are month to month as far as I know, the landlord has not raised the rent or has offered to sign another lease. My questions is if the landlord wants us out of her property, how much time must she give us to vacate the residence. I told my wife 30 days not 3 days. Please help
